Breakfast with Presiding Bishop Michael Curry
Spooky Nook Sports Complex, Lancaster, PA
Saturday, October 23, 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

All Children and Youth are invited to share breakfast with the Presiding Bishop. A youth ministry task force will be contacting every congregation to participate either in person or with a message of care and love. This is a time for the Presiding Bishop to meet and greet our young people. Watch for more information; meanwhile, take a look at Bishop Curry’s message to youth in 2019.
Youth Ministry Task Force Update

During the summer months, the youth ministry task force is engaging in a data-gathering process that includes individual interviews as well as larger group listening sessions throughout the Diocese of CPA.  We appreciate all who have shared their insights, concerns, and celebrations for youth ministry at this time. Our next step is interviewing the youth. We will share the results of our interview as we continue to engage in our conversations. The task force has a desire to honor the goodness of what has been in diocesan youth ministry coupled with an eagerness to see a new thing born in Central Pennsylvania, calling more youth into relationship with God, resourcing and serving the local congregation and each other.
Safe Guarding God’s Children Training for All Children and Youth Ministry

The Diocese of Central PA offers hybrid zoom + online modules. Also, if desired, face-to-face training. Safeguarding Online has been developed in response to the requests from Episcopal Church clergy and lay leaders for more flexible, easy-to-access, and cost-effective training.

Safeguarding Online provides training in short, focused courses that can normally be completed in 30-45 minutes. These courses can be taken from any location where a high-speed internet connection is available. For more information contact Robyn Szoke-Coolidge, rszoke@diocesecpa.org" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color:rgb(220, 169, 44);font-weight:bold">rszoke@diocesecpa.org and check out our Safeguarding God’s Children web page.
