About St. Andrew's In The Valley

Who We Are

St. Andrew’s in the Valley is located on a spacious 13-acre site in the Harrisburg suburbs at 4620 Linglestown Road. The contemporary church building was dedicated in 1986.  A house on the property functions as our parish hall and offices.  Our Valley location has the advantage of easy access from major highways and plenty of free parking.  A cadre of dedicated volunteers helps keep the grounds in good shape.

Our facilities are used by other organizations.  The Valley church and/or house hosts at least one diocesan function per month.

Harrisburg is situated on the east shore of the Susquehanna River and is the capital of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  The area is economically diverse and robust.  While the state government is the largest single employer in the area, there are also a number of sizable companies and medical establishments.  There are numerous beautiful and historic areas locally and nearby.  Further, we are within 200 miles of New York City, Pittsburgh, and Washington, DC, and within 100 miles of Baltimore and Philadelphia

Harrisburg is the seat of the Episcopal Diocese of Central Pennsylvania.  The diocese is led by our bishop, the Right Reverend Audrey Cady Scanlan, and consists of 17,500 partners in Christ in 71 parishes.
