Episcopal Church Women

The ECW provides service and support, both personally and monetarily, for events and community services provided by St. Andrew’s in the Valley Church.  When refreshments are needed at functions offered at the church sites, our members respond.

The ECW has two fund-raising efforts each year:

• Christmas Tea and Concert (in December)
• Yard Sale (in the spring)

From these efforts, the ECW has financed:

• Costs for children to attend church events, such as bus trips and summer programs
• Items for the church, including a park bench for the labyrinth, and various furnishings
• Goodie boxes for college students and armed forces personnel twice a year
• Costs for several parishioners to go to Mississippi for Katrina relief
